Parker’s Allegations Against Unite the Union
On the 9th and 10th of September, the case involving Mr Parker and Unite the Union will commence. Mr Parker has put forth three distinct complaints, focusing on violations related to elections at the Bramley branch and his removal from the role of full-time Convenor. This case highlights the importance of transparent electoral processes within union structures.
Concerns Raised by Dabrowski, Whitehouse and the Communication Workers Union
From the 20th to the 22nd of October, the applicants Dabrowski and Whitehouse will present two complaints against the Communication Workers Union. They allege that the union has contravened its own rules concerning the upcoming branch elections scheduled for 2026. This case underscores the critical nature of adherence to established electoral guidelines within unions.
Disciplinary Proceedings Involving the British Medical Association
In November, specifically on the 10th and 11th, the British Medical Association will face scrutiny as the applicant presents six complaints. The following year, from the 2nd to the 4th of February 2027, the case involving Bates, Floyd, and Mangan against the Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association (TSSA) will be heard. This group of applicants has made separate complaints alleging that the TSSA breached its rules concerning the 2026 National Treasurer elections and the disciplinary proceedings against Mr Bates. Hughes’ Complaint Against Prospect
On 25th March 2027, Mr Hughes will present a singular complaint against Prospect, claiming a breach of the union’s rules regarding the constitution and proceedings of a decision-making meeting. This case serves as a reminder of the significance of procedural adherence in union governance.
