To date, decommissioning efforts at Harwell have successfully removed over one million square feet of facility space, cleared 1.6 million square feet of land, and allowed for the delicensing and release of 23 hectares for redevelopment. This progress has been instrumental in the creation of the internationally recognised Harwell Science and Innovation Campus, which now supports thousands of jobs and hosts hundreds of organisations at the cutting edge of science and technology.
