His tenure has seen the development of a comprehensive Government Communications strategy, alongside the establishment of a Strategy Unit and the Government Media Unit. These key elements have set the groundwork for the forthcoming phase of implementation.
With the recent transition of Prime Minister and administration, David and the First Secretary of State have mutually decided that this is an opportune moment to pass on the leadership of the programme.
