NDA Empowers Local Communities to Strengthen Connections
The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) is making strides in addressing digital exclusion by generously donating surplus mobile phones, iPads, laptops, and monitors to schools and charitable organisations throughout North West England.
These refurbished devices are empowering both children and adults by providing them with access to education, essential support services, and information. Moreover, they facilitate communication with family and friends, helping individuals remain connected to vital networks.
Since the initiative commenced in 2021, the NDA has contributed over 1,500 devices to approximately 50 educational institutions and charities across regions such as Cumbria, Lancaster, Warrington, and Manchester. Beneficiaries include organisations like Northwest Blood Bikes and the ...
