Young People in Wales Begin Work Under New Jobs Guarantee Scheme
The inaugural group of young individuals in Wales has commenced employment through a pioneering initiative established by the UK Government aimed at addressing long-term youth unemployment. The Jobs Guarantee scheme, which was launched this summer, directly addresses the pressing issue of joblessness among young people by providing a clear pathway to employment for those aged 18 to 24 who have been claiming Universal Credit and actively seeking work for a period of 18 months.
